TheVirginWitch started out as an incredibly disorganized Tumblr blog during the very beginning of my witchcraft journey. Since then, I have grown fond of writing more long-form posts, boasted by academic research, about the history and development of modern witchcraft and paganism. Substack seemed like the perfect place to do that!

During my solitary journey, I began craving such an intense need for a community — and started Grove of the Flame Acanthus, a coven for folks in the North TX area.

When I’m not working my day job or running coven activities, I’m usually reading, playing video games, writing, sending postcards all over the world, crocheting, or working on other various DIY projects.
